When I walk by the Guggenheim Museum, I think of Chris. It was his favorite New York museum.
He loved taking me down the Frank Lloyd Wright designed ramp of the museum critiquing every piece of art along the way. Chris also loved stopping outside the museum at the Sabrett's hot dog stand for one of New York's most memorable and tasty cuisines. In 1983, Chris asked me to take a photo of him in front of the Guggenheim for a book he was writing entitled, American Culture and Society Since The 1930s.
The following attached photos are in memory of Chris.
